Company History




1969 January Tarami Fruit and Vegetable founded in Tarami, Nishisonogi District, in Nagasaki.
1971 July Relocated to Nagasaki City and became incorporated with 20 million yen in capital.
"Tarami Seika Co., Ltd." established.
1988 January
Changed company name to "Tarami Corporation".
March Opened a food processing plant (in Takematsuhonmachi, Omura).
Began development and manufacturing of processed fruit goods,
including jam and jelly.

Separated the company into a fruit and vegetable business sector and a food business sector.
Created the original Tarami fruit jelly.
1991 January Constructed and moved the headquarters to a new location (in Nakazato, Nagasaki).
Established the Nagasaki Factory within the headquarters building in Nakazato, Nagasaki.
1994 December Opened the Tokyo branch office
(currently, Tokyo sales office).
1996 February Opened the Osaka branch office
(currently, Osaka sales office).
1999 October Completed work on the Nagasaki Distribution Center.
2000 March Completed work on the Konagai Factory and began jelly production.
September Earned ISO 9001 certification.
2014 February Moved the Kyushu sales office.
March Reinvented company logo.
November Earned FSSC22000 certification.
November Launched a joint venture in the Republic of Indonesia.
2016 April Opened the Nagoya sales office.
August Established the new Mirai Research Laboratory.
2017 February Opened the Tohoku sales office.
August Opened the Tokyo Headquarters.
2018 December Established the China sales office.
